The Big Sky Spectaculaire starts and finishes in Bozeman, located in southwest Montana. It is a 968 +/- mile single stage, self-supported competitive adventure bicycle ride around Southwest and Central Montana. The route is primarily asphalt with approximately 200 miles of gravel. Parts of the route are the Adventure Cycling Association (ACA) TransAm and Lewis and Clark Bike Routes. The route crosses the Continental Divide twice, at Chief Joseph Pass (elev. 7241) and Rogers Pass (elev. 5610). Between these passes and throughout the route are numerous scenic valleys and other passes in SW MT. The route also ventures into Montana's agricultural (wheat and barley) heartland, the Golden Triangle.

Entry fee: None. Riders will be required to pay for registration and rental (if necessary) of their tracking device with the event tracking provider.

There is no prize money or awards.

Start Date and Time: August 24, 2020 (4th Monday of August) at 0630. Beall Park (corner of N. Bozeman Ave. and E. Villard St.) in Bozeman.

Bike Inspection and pre-ride event: August 23, 2020 at 1600. Beall Park Pavillion.

All riders are required to attend the bike inspection. The pre-ride event will include a barbeque and rider meet-and-greet.
