The Big Sky Spectaculaire starts and finishes in Bozeman, located in southwest Montana. It is a single stage, self-supported competitive adventure bicycle ride around Southwest and Central Montana. The 2024 route is 902+/- miles in length on mixed surfaces with approximately 450 miles being gravel and 2-track. Parts of the route are the Adventure Cycling Association (ACA) TransAm and Lewis and Clark Bike Routes, the Tour Divide as well as the Bitterroot Connector developed by Bikepacking Roots. The route crosses the Continental Divide twice, at Mill Creek Divide (elev. 6749) and Rogers Pass (elev. 5610). Between these passes and throughout the entire route are numerous scenic valleys and divides providing 360 degree vistas. The route also ventures into Montana's agricultural (wheat and barley) heartland, the Golden Triangle, where you will experience the big sky from horizon to horizon.
